The squad for the away trip to Celta

The first away trip of the season for Ronald Koeman's squad comes hot on the heels of their excellent 4-0 win in the opening La Liga fixture of the campaign at home to Villarreal. Barça face a Celta Vigo side coached by former blaugrana Òscar Garcia who remain unbeaten in 2020/21 in the league following a win and two draws in their opening three games. Coach Koeman has named a 23 man squad for the fixture with striker Martin Braithwaite included after his recovery from injury.
The squad is the following: Piqué, Sergio, Aleñá, Griezmann, Pjanic, Messi, O. Dembélé, Neto, Coutinho, Lenglet, Pedri, Trincao, Jordi Alba, Braithwaite, S. Roberto, F . De Jong, Ansu Fati, Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Konrad, R. Araujo, Ramos Mingo and Arnau Tenas. MIssing due to injury are Ter Stegen, Umtiti and Junior Firpo. The full back has a hamstring problem and his recovery will dictate when he can return to action.
Final session in Barcelona
On Wednesday the squad trained for the final time ahead of the trip to Galicia, starting at 11am CEST at the Ciutat Esportiva. All the available first team players took part as well as Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Konrad, R. Araujo and Ramos Mingo from Barça B.
