FC Barcelona have won the Sacyr ASOBAL Super Cup, racing to victory with a stunning display against BM Benidorm (18-38), and winning the trophy for an incredible 23rd time and the ninth in a row! Domen Makuc was simply outstanding, scoring seven goals and collecting the MVP award at the end.
It was inspired handball from a team that already won the Catalan Super Cup the week before, and sets Barça up nicely for the regular league season, which begins on Wednesday 2 September
