CUPRA, in association with FC Barcelona, has come up with a plan to boost the atmosphere at the Camp Nou when it becomes possible for games to be played again, by transferring the fans’ warmth onto the football pitch. Called ‘Let’s win this match together’, the Club and its Official Automotive and Mobility Partner are calling on fans all around the world to send photos of themselves cheering for the team, which will be shown on the LED screens around the pitch during home matches.
These pictures can be sent via the official CUPRA website and will be shown during games, reminding the players that the fans are behind them and helping the fans to feel a bit closer to the Club and its stadium.
Meanwhile, Marc ter Stegen, FC Barcelona goalkeeper and global ambassador for CUPRA, has been calling on the fans to fill the Camp Nou with messages of support. The main idea is to bring the competitive spirit and passion from the digital world into the stadium. "Playing at our Camp Nou is always special where the support of our fans is important. This CUPRA initiative is great as it allows us to feel their presence. We need to adapt to the situation and in this way we can create a winning atmosphere for our home matches. Força Barça!”, Ter Stegen says.
A global partnership
Last August 2019, FC Barcelona and CUPRA joined forces in the form of a global partnership. It was an innovative agreement through which the automobile company was made the exclusive Official Automotive and Mobility Partner as well as one of FC Barcelona’s Global Official Partners. The main goals of the alliance include promoting the image of the city of Barcelona around the world, fostering talent and innovation, and creating unique experiences for the global fan community.
