In an interview on Movistar's El Partidazo programme, Gerard Piqué, from his home, spoke about a return to competition and his return to training. The Barça centre-back would prefer to be in a group rather than having individual sessions, but the protocols must be respected.

The protocol followed by the league

"The players are well informed about the whole protocol; the club explained it to us well. We have started training and at the moment, we are comfortable. But the group coaching experience is better."

"Any precaution is welcome. Everyone should know the protocol and follow it to the letter. If everyone pays attention, everything will be fine."

The possible start of the competition

"Start on June 12? But the players have a concern and we don't want the start of the league to be rushed. We've stopped for a long time, unable to even play friendlies. I'd like it to be taken into account that we're well prepared so that there will be good games. A few more days of training will not be bad for us."

Playing without fans

"We don't like to play without an audience, but that's it or we finish the league now, and it would be ugly even though we are leaders."

"We hope to win the league. It's hard to think of celebration but in June, we hope to be in a different situation and celebrate it then as we should."

Gatherings

"If gatherings can be avoided or reduced, it's better. It's hard for the family to stay focused for so long, and if it (lockdown) can be reduced to the maximum, better."
