The Euroleague has decided to temporarily suspend all of its competitions, with immediate effect, in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO). The European basketball competition will thus postpone all scheduled games, including those for FC Barcelona, who were set to play Zalgiris Kaunas at the Palau Blaugrana on Friday at 9pm CET on Matchday 29 of the Regular Season.
FC Barcelona have already qualified for the next round of the Euroleague. Third in the standings with 22 wins and 6 defeats, they earned their place in the quarter finals away to CSKA Moscow (80-82) in February, thanks to a Nikola Mirotic buzzer-beater.
