4-0 win for Barça Legends in Cali, Colombia
The blaugranes take a comfortable win over a team formed by ex Deportivo and América player from the South American city

Two goals from Javier Saviola and strikes from Belletti and Santi Ezquerro gave Barça Legends an excellent 4-0 win in Cali, Colombia against a team made up of former players of the Deportivo and América club from the city.
The Legends team, coached by ‘Chapi’ Ferrer and with Carles Puyol making his debut, went close through Roberto Trashorras after just seven minutes and not long after the blaugranes were ahead, Stoichkov feeding Belletti and the Brazilian fired home an effort reminiscent of his goal in the 2006 Champions League final against Arsenal.
Bulgarian Stoichkov once again turned provider in the first half to allow Saviola to finish from close range to make it 2-0. A penalty for handball was dispatched by the Argentinian striker for his second of the game and then Ezquerro added a fourth just before half time.
In the second half changes in personal led to a more disjointed 40 minutes of football. Angoy, the Barça goalkeeper, pulled off a good save after 67 minutes to keeper the Colombians at bay. Despite a lack of goals in the second half, the festival atmosphere continued until the final whistle – a good omen ahead of their second game in Bogotá against a Colombia Legends side on Thursday 5 March at 7.00pm local time.
