Back to work ahead of Clásico at Ciutat Esportiva

Friday saw the return to training for the squad after Thursday's rest day as the players continue their preparations for Sunday's Clásico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, kick off 9pm CET. All the available first team players took part in the session at the Ciutat Esportiva with Jordi Alba taking part in some of the workout with his team mates. Also present were Morer, R. Araujo, Akieme, Monchu, Riqui Puig, Collado and Ansu Fati from Barça B.

Before training the players and coaching staff received a talk on the current coronavirus outbreak from Dr.Antoni Trilla, head of Preventative Medicine and Epidemiology at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona. Rakitic and Morer underwent UEFA anti-doping controls. 

The next training session will take place on Saturday at 11pm CET after which coach Quique Setién will appear before the press at the Ciutat Esportiva.
