A total of eleven FC Barcelona players have been nominated for the FIFA FIFPro World11, the all-star CI picked by the players themselves.
The names on the list are Ter Stegen, Jordi Alba, Piqué, Sergio, Arthur, Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Messi and Luis Suárez plus De Jong and Griezmann, although they were at Ajax and Atlético Madrid respectively last season.
The winner will be announced at the Best gala next September 23 at the Teatro allà Scala in Milan, where the names of the player of the year and best goal of the year will also be announced, with Lionel Messi in the running for both prizes.
