Messi, Coutinho and Arthur, face to face in the Superclásico

The national team of Brazil and Argentina come face to face on Tuesday in the first semi final of the 2019 Copa América with a strong Barça presence guaranteed.
Leo Messi and the albiceleste come into the clash of the South American giants thanks a second placed finish behind Colombia in the group stage and a quarter final victory Venezuela. Argentina are looking to make it three appearances in a row in the final of the competition and also reverse a run of two successive defeats in a tournament in which they have not emerged victorious since 1993.
The Barça number 10 will come up against his team mates Philippe Coutinho and Arthur in the semi final with Brazil in the last four thanks to a penalty shoot out win over Paraguay in the quarter finals.
32nd Superclásico in the Copa América
Argentina and Brazil have met on 32 occasions in the world's oldest international competition with la canarinha having the edge in recent years with four wins in their last four meetings. The hosts of this year's tournament have also never lost to their great rivals in official competition on home soil.
Belo Horizonte is the venue for the semi final which will see one team book place in Sunday's final in the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
In the other semi final there will also be a Barça presence with Arturo Vidal's Chile team facing Peru on Wednesday.
