FC Barcelona and Laboral Kutxa have reached an agreement for the transfer of Tibor Pleiss on a two-year deal. The German passed his medical test on Monday at the FC Barcelona Medical Services.

Pleiss is a 2.16 m tall centre born in Bergisch Gladbach (Germany) on November 2, 1989. He started out at Rhein Energy in Cologne, playing six games in the Bundesliga in the 2006/07 season. From 2007/08 to 2011/12 he also turned out for the Köln 99ers and Brose Baskets in Germany before moving to Spain in 2012 to join Laboral Kutxa.
Pleiss is a full international for his country and was a number 32 pick for the New Jersey Nets on the 2010 draft.
