On Wednesday at 4.00 PM CET, Barça B will be playing a friendly with the Indonesia U19 team as part of the visiting side’s Spanish Tour. The venue will be Pitch 7 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and the game is being shown on Barça TV and Esport3, as well as being streamed live with English language commentary on www.fcbarcelona.com and on the Indonesian version of the club website at www.fcbarcelona.co.id. The match is being played behind closed doors, and only accredited members of the media will be allowed to attend.
The tour has roused plenty of interest among Indonesian football fans, and this game is being broadcast live on one of the country’s top channels, SCTV, at 9.00 PM Jakarta time. Managed by Indra Sjafri, the side is being prepared for future editions of the Asian Cup. And expectations are higher than ever after Luis Enrique revealed at his Tuesday press conference that Luis Suárez may well be given a run-out during the match.
The Indonesia U19 team has already played other games against Spanish reserve teams since September 16. The group of forty players, coaches and officials arrived in Barcelona this week and on Tuesday visited the Camp Nou Experience, where they enjoyed a Stadium Tour and explored the FCB Museum.
On Tuesday evening they have a training session scheduled at the Ciutat Esportiva, where they’ll be making their final preparations for Wednesday’s game.
Last season, Barça B entertained Indonesian club side Mitra Kukar, comfortably beating them 4-0 with goals from Munir and Denis Suárez.
