Sergio Busquets has injured ligaments in his right ankle

In the 39th minute of FC Barcelona's 3–1 win over Villarreal, midfielder Sergio Busquets suffered a ligament injury in his right ankle. Busquets will undergo more tests on Thursday to discover the exact extent of the injury according to the Club's medical staff.

The Barça number 5 was injured in an incident involving Villarreal's Tomás Pina five minutes before half time. The injury came in the build up to Jonathan Dos Santos' goal which made it 1-1. Busquets was replaced by Jérémy Mathieu with Javier Mascherano covering his place in midfield.
