In total, there have been four matches between the two eternal rivals, and in which the result has been very clear: four victories out of four possible.

The 25th basketball Copa del Rey
On February 17, at the WiZink Center in Madrid, FC Barcelona beat Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey. Pesic's side, who had previously eliminated Valencia and Tenerife in the quarterfinals and semifinals of the competition, reached the final with the desire to revalidate the title of the previous season, also against the same rival. In a very demanding and tough match, the Catalans had to overcome 17 points in the third quarter, but they managed to take the game thanks to Tomic's basket in the last seconds of overtime. The final score was 93-94 and the 25th Copa del Rey was on its way back to Barcelona.
The Copa Kings impose themselves again
Ernesto Valverde's team also won in the Cup. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the semifinals at the Camp Nou, on 27 February the Blaugrana stormed the Santiago Bernabéu with a 0-3 victory. Luis Suárez's double and Varane's own goal qualified Barça for their sixth Cup final in a row.
Great night at the Palau
This past Friday, the Palau hosted the Euroleague game, on a night when Juan Carlos Navarro's No.11 shirt was retired and became part of the decorations. The opponents for this great magical night were Real Madrid, but they couldn't beat a Barça side who dominated throughout and ended the match with a 77-70 victory.
