Denis Suárez is living his first hours as a Barça player. The 22-year-old midfielder had a Tuesday morning chock full of events and activities.
First came his physical. Then came a photo shoot in front of the FC Barcelona badge.
All morning, Suárez was beaming, unable to hide his satisfaction.
"I am very happy to return to the best team in the world," he said. "Ever since I left, I have been wanting to return, and now my dream has come true."
Suárez returns to the club after developing his skills for two seasons at Sevilla and Villarreal.
It was an important stage, according to the Galicia native.
"It helped me mature as a football player and as a person," he said. Now, he says, he is "ready to make the jump."
Suárez continued: "I'll give everything I have to succeed at Barça."
Fully aware that there will be plenty of competition for playing time, Suárez was fine with it: "That's always good."
