Right Wing
Aleix Gómez joined the youth ranks at FC Barcelona in 2009/10 when he arrived from OAR Gràcia de Sabadell. Since coming to the Club, Gómez has developed into a quick player with excellent finishing skills. He is now one of the best right wings in the world.
He made his debut in the Asobal League for the first team on 1 October 2014 in a match against Ciudad Encantada in the Palau Blaugrana in which he managed to find the net.
An international at youth level for Spain, Gómez was part of the World Championship winning junior squad in the summer of 2017. In the same tournament he was also named in the ideal seven as best right winger.
Aleix Gómez is a quick winger and a good finisher and has come through the youth ranks at the Club before finding himself a place in Xavi Pacual’s first team squad. His pace is of vital importance in rapid transitions from defence into attack.
