Industrias Santa Coloma 3-8 Barça: Flying into the semis

The Barça futsal side picked up an important victory on Friday in the quarter finals of the Spanish Cup. Tino Pérez's team defeated Industrias Santa Coloma in the last eight in the Pabellón Deportes de Murcia thanks to two goals from Sergio González, and goals from Antonio, Catela, Dyego, Martel, Erick and Adolfo. In the semi-finals they will meet Peñiscola who defeated Cartagena on penalties in their quarter final. 

First half efficiency 

Barça came out the better of the two sides and before half time they were three goals to the good. The blaugranes took the lead in just the fifth minute with Sergio González turning home a pass from Touré. 

Industrias came close to drawing level but keeper Dídac pulled off a series of important stops. It was then that Antonio made it 2-0 on 10 minutes with a shot from distance to turn the game in Barça's favour. Before half time Catela added a free kick to make it 3-0 at the break. 

Explosive second half 

Despite the result in Barça's favour, the game exploded in the second half. Nil pulled one back for Industrias before in quick succession goals from Dyego and Martel swung the tie towards Tino Pérez's team. 

An own goal from Erick and a strike from Povill cut the deficit to three goals at 6-3 but late goals from Erick and Adolfo sealed a place in the semi-finals for the blaugranes against Peñiscola.
