Barça 2-1 Pescados Rubén Burela: Third win in a row

Another blaugrana victory at the Palau, as Tino Pérez' side defeated newly promoted Pescados Rubén Burela 2-1. Fits (min 1) and Lozano (min 12) scored the goals to propel the team to their third consecutive win.

Electric start

The blaugranes came out strongly with five starters and it took just 65 seconds for Fits to opening the scoring and confirm why he is one of the best in his position with a smart turn in the area before shooting into the net. The goal woke the Galicians up and the game settled down into long periods of possession for both sides.

Captain opens account

A misunderstanding by the visitors broke the impasse, however, with blaugrana captain Sergio Lozano making the most of the mistake after the ball fell to his feet by firing in fiercely from outside the area. The game picked up after the goal with more shots and action, Fits had some great chances and Feixas saved well. Half time 2-0.

Feixas crucial

The pace dropped after the restart, with few occasions and long periods of possession. However, the Galicians scored with eight minutes to go to increase the tension, Alberto Miras diverting a Charly shot into the net.

Burela pressed for the equaliser, but Feixas is a safe pair of hands, making two superb stops with a minute to go. Third win in a row and next up for Barça, Inter Movistar, current league leaders with six wins out of six (23 November, 5.00pm).
