FC Barcelona to begin futsal league 2024/25 away to ElPozo Múrcia

The schedule for the handball league season was announced today and Tino Pérez's side will be starting with a trip to ElPozo Múrcia on the weekend of October 12-13. The first visitors to the Palau Blaugrana will be Manzanares the week after, followed by the derby at Industrias Santa Coloma in the last weekend of October.

Other key dates include the visit of Inter on November 13, and that of Palma Futsal on December 12, with Cartagena coming to town on January 25. 

Barça are in Torrejón d'Ardoz on February 18 and host Industrias Santa Coloma on February 22. 

March 15 is the return leg at home to ElPozo Múrcia, April 5-6 brings the trip to Cartagena and a tough months ends with the road trip to Palma Futsal on the 26th.

End season dates

The reason for the late start to the campaign is the World Championship in Uzbekistan, with as many as 10 members of the Barça squad away competing for their countries.

So it'll be a more compact league season, the regular season ending at home Córdoba on the last weekend of May

The eight highest ranked teams will advance to the playoffs, running from May 31 to June 29. The quarter finals and semi finals will be best-of-three series and the final will be best-of-five.
