Barça 2-3 ElPozo Múrcia: Defeat at the Palau

Despite two goals from Matheus, the side from Murcia claim victory thanks to a late own goal

The Barça futsal team have lost at the Palau Blaugrana, 3-2 to ElPozo Múrcia, with a brace from Matheus answered by goals for the visitors by Gadeia, Ricardo and finally Antonio in his own net with just a minute and a half to go.

Despite the loss, Barça remain top of the league, three points ahead of today's guests from Murcia, but it all adds to the importance now of tricky games against Jaén and Palma this week before playing for the Spanish Cup from March 21 to 24.

The top of the table clash lived up to its billing, with some quality football being played although neither side was able to find a goal in the first half, That all changed in the second, but despite a brilliant goal from Matheus, ElPozo quickly stunned the Palau with two goals of their own. 

Barça regrouped quickly and were soon back level, but ElPozo had the best chances of the endgame, with Dídac making some key saves before a the crazy move that ened with an own goal gigting the three points to the guests.

On Tuesday at 9pm CET, it's away to third place Jaen. The league is alive and kicking.
