Luxol St. Andrews 1-7 Barça: Into the next round as a seeded team

First objective of the season met. After the 7-1 win over Luxol St.Andrews in the final game of the Main Round of the futsal Champions League, the blaugranes assure first place in their group and a place in the next phase of the competition as one of the seeded team come the draw on Thursday.  

Barça dominant led by Lozano

The blaugranes started strongly and two goals in the opening seven minutes from Lozano put them on the road to victory. Vitinho pulled one back for their rivals but it was a momentary set back for Jesús Velasco's team. 

Just before half time, Ferrao rounded off a move involving Marcenio to make it 3-1 at the break for Barça. 

In the second half Adolfo provided Sergio González the chance to make it 4-1 which he accepted gratefully. Adolfo added his name to the scorers before Lozano picked up his hat trick. Pito rounded off the scoring for the blaugranes to make it three wins out of three in Malta in the Main Round. 

The UEFA Futsal Champions League Elite Round will take place 24-27 November with the draw taking place next Thursday. Barça's next game, however, is in the league when they visit Noia Portus Apostoli on Saturday 5 November.
