Granada 0-2 FC Barcelona: Two decisive minutes

Barça Femení got through a tough challenge against a resilient Granada, and the three points are heading back to Barcelona. Two goals in two minutes from Vicky López and Alexia Putellas just after the break sealed the win in a game without Aitana Bonmatí, who was ruled out at the last minute due to a gastrointestinal issue.

Goalless first half

t was a tricky opening 45 minutes for Barça, who went into the break with no goals to show for their dominance. The Granada defence stood strong, with the best chance coming in the 13th minute—a Salma Paralluelo cross looking for Vicky López that was cut out.

Granada grew into the game as the minutes passed, shaking off the initial pressure and creating danger of their own, but the breakthrough was eventually blaugrana.

Quick goals

Piling on the pressure after coming out from the interval, Vicky López latched onto a perfectly weighted pass from Patri Guijarro to open the scoring in the 72nd minute.

Just two minutes later, Alexia Putellas doubled the lead, finishing off a brilliant move initiated by Ewa Pajor.

From that moment on, Barça managed the game smartly, controlling possession and ensuring Granada had no way back. With this victory, they remains firmly at the top of the Liga F standings, three points closer to the title.
