Real Sociedad 0-6 Barça: Big win to kick off the year

What a start to 2025! Barça overcame Real Sociedad 6-0 away from home in a comfortable encounter for Pere Romeu's team. In the first half the blaugranes surged into a three goal lead and repeated the feat in the second with Ewa Pajor helping herself to a hat-trick. 

Three to start...

From early on the blaugranes started their 2025 on the right foot. Ewa Pajor grabbed the first goal of the year for Barça Women with a strike in the sixth minute of the contest. 

Salma added a second on her comeback from injury thanks to Ona Battle winning the ball back and setting up the striker on the half hour mark. Right on the stroke of half time, Pajor added a second for herself and a third for Barça. A lovely move involving Alexia and Aitana was rounded off by the Polish strike to take a 3-0 lead into the break. 

Three more

In the second half Pajor completed her hat-trick - a cross from Patri put the chance on a plate and the striker accepted to make it 4-0. Salma got in on the action again after a great pass from Alexia before the Ballon d'Or winner Aitana rounded off the win with a sixth ten minutes from time.
