Transport recommendations for Barça Women v Manchester City at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys

Advice on how to get to the stadium for fans going to see the Women's Champions League game in Barcelona

The FC Barcelona Women's team take on Manchester City on Wednesday at 6.45pm CET in week 6 of this season's Women's Champions League at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Not only will the fans have the chance to support the team in just their second game of the season at the stadium after the Clásico fixture against Real Madrid, there will also be a special series of events laid on to celebrate this special time of the year.

Access and transport

In order to cope with the fans travelling to the stadium at Montjuïc and to cover all their needs, FC Barcelona, together with Barcelona City Council and the local police force, are continuing with the transport plan in place which aims to ease access to and exit from both the area of Montjuïc and the stadium itself. The measures in the plan, applied to all matches to facilitate entrance and exit to the area of Montjuïc and the stadium for fans.

In line with match day procedure, at 3.45pm CET access in private vehicles will be restricted to the majority of the Park Area of Montjuïc, with gates opening at the stadium at 5.15pm CET. Close to the Estadi Olímpic, vehicles will not be allowed to circulate and accreditation will be necessary to access the Olympic Ring area. As always, fans making their way to the stadium are encouraged to do so on foot or by public transport.

Is it recommended fans walk or take public transport to reach the stadium. There will also be free shuttle buses running from 2 hours before the game (and until one hour after the game).

The best train/metro stations for reaching the ground are:
Espanya (L1, L3, L8 and other FGC lines)
Poble Sec (L3)
Paral·lel (L2, L3)
