Levante 1-4 Barça: Seven out of seven

Barça have made it seven wins in seven games in the Liga F, although especially in the first half, Levante made them work hard for it. But logic imposed itself in the end and they go into the international break with another three points for the collection. To add to the celebrations, today was game 100 for Rolfö at FC Barcelona.

Wearing the third strip for the first time, Barça took the lead after 12 minutes through Vicky López. But much as the Catalans were dominating the possession, Levante managed to produce a surprising number of dangerous chances, and Daniela Arques converted one of those with a powerful finish.

Barça worked their way back into the lead through Kika, the Portuguese forward's first ever goal in the Liga F. And then Claudia Pina, who had provided the assists for the first two goals, topped a fabulous personal display by scoring the third. And she almost scored another, but that one hit the bar. 

Levante had posted a brave performance to this point, but with the the third goal, they knew they were beaten. Even so, they battled well and resisted for over half an hour without conceding any more goals.

Eventually, the Barça win was rounded off with nine minutes to go when centre back Irene Paredes rose above everyone to meet the ball and make it 4-1.
