US tour begins

The Barça Women squad left for the United States of America to play two friendly matches today, the first against Bay FC (27-28/8) - featuring former blaugrana Oshoala - and the second against Dallas Trinity (30-31/8).

A total of 26 players are in the travelling squad, but 22 travelled today, with four of them set to travel on Monday. The squad available to Pere Romeu from today is as follows - Gemma, María León, Jana, Marta, Pina, Graham, Alexia, Patri, Aitana, Rolfö, Pajor, Kika, Vicky, Walsh, O. Batlle, Engen, Brugts, Roebuck, Caño, Schertenleib, Celia Segura and Szymczak. 

Paralluelo and Cata Coll trained at the Ciutat Esportiva at the weekend to continue their preparation and manage slight knocks. They will travel to the USA tomorrow and will be joined on the flight by youth players, Clara Serrajordi and Natalia Escot.

The games

Barça are set to play Bay FC at the PayPal Park on August 28, kickoff 7pm local time (4am CEST), where they will meet up with former blaugrana Asisat Oshoala, as well as top players such as Kundananji and Deyna Castellanos.

The following match is set to kick off at 7.30pm local time (2.30am CEST) on August 31, when Barça will play the Dallas Trinity at the majestic Cotton Bowl stadium. The newly created side from Texas will play their first game in the stadium against Barça.

The team will also have three training sessions during their time in the US, as well as different commercial commitments.
