FC Barcelona have beaten Granada and thus clinched the Liga F title for the fifth time in a row and the third under coach Jonatan Giráldez, who will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
With 25 and just one draw, there was never really any doubt that the Catalans were going to crowned champions yet again. Five is the longest winning spree in the history of the competition. Barça won all four editions from 2012 to 2015, but this time they have gone one better.
Treble in sight?
La Liga is in the bag, and now the team will have their sights firmly set on completing the treble. That all hangs on two huge matches in May. The the 18th they face Real Sociedad in the Copa de la Reina Final, and one week later on May 25 they are up against Olympique Lyon in the Champions League Final in Bilbao.
