Six Ballon d'Or nominees, best moment of September
In the vote sponsored by GLS, the fans decided that the highlight of the month was the extraordinary number of Barça women in the running for the biggest individual honour in the game
After Barça's magnificent season, no fewer than six members of the quad were nominated for France Football's prestigious Ballon d'Or prize. The shortlist of 30 players includes all of Salma Paralluelo, Patri Guijarro, Aitana Bonmatí, Mapi León, Oshoala and Rolfö, making Barça the most represented club.
This moment won the vote over the Catalan parliament granting the team its Medal of Honour, the tribute to Jonatan Giráldez by the RFGF and Alexia making her 400th appearance for the team.
