FC Barcelona Women 5-0 Juventus Women: Gamper glory
The festival atmosphere at the Joan Gamper Trophy game never disappoints. On Thursday 5,845 fans turned up to see Barça record a comfortable 5-0 win over Italian visitors Juventus. After win over AEM Lleida and Montpellier in previous editions, the blaugranes retain their 100% record in the pre-season fixture.
Barça dominate first half
The game started with the blaugranes in control and Caroline Graham Hansen opened the scoring with an excellent poachers' goal in the opening minutes of the contest.
The blaugranes did not let up after the first goal and after Bruna had struck the woodwork, the second came just after the half hour mark when Juventus' Lenzini put the ball past her own goalkeeper. Not long after Bruna finally got her reward when she finished off an excellent cross from Pina to make it 3-0.
Barça continued to dominate and before half time Vicky López made it 4-0 with a good finish from a Lucía Corrales cross.

In the second half with Barça 4-0 up, coach Jonatan Giráldez gave some of his young players a chance with Gemma Font, Laia Martret, Noah Bezis and Giulia Dragoni all coming on.
With the game seemingly won at 4-0, it fell to MVP Mapi León to make it five with a clever finish from a loose ball in the Juventus box after a corner. There was still time for new signing Esmee Brugts to make her debut to round off a wonderful day for the Barça Women's team.
