Nine from FC Barcelona in Spain's World Cup squad

Jorge Vilda has named the Spanish team that will be playing at the World Cup from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. Cata Coll, Irene Paredes, Laia Codina, Aitana Bonmatí, Maria Pérez, Alexia Putellas, Mariona Caldentey and Salma Paralluelo are joined by recent signing Ona Batlle.
Only Jana Fernández misses out from ten who were in the provisional squad.
Spain start in Group C along with Japan, Zambia and Costa Rica. It is only the third time that Spain have played at the event, and they have never progressed further then the round of 16.
More Barça faces
There are another eight members of the Barça squad who will be featuring down under with their own countries.
Ingrid Engen and Caroline Graham Hansen are in a strong Norwegian squad that shares a group with Ana-Maria Crnogorčević's Switzerland, as well as hosts New Zealand and the Philippines.
Asisat Oshoala will be there for Nigeria, which shares a group with Ireland, Canada and host nation Australia.
European champions England have Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh, who start against China, Denmark and Haiti.
Ranked third in the world, Sweden are another of the favourites. Fridolina Rolfö and her team-mates take on Argentina, South Africa and Italy (whose squad hasn't been announced yet but could well include another Barça player in Giulia Dragoni.
And finally Geyse Ferreira will be donning the famous Brazil jersey as her side begins the tournament with games against France, Jamaica and Panama.
