Barça totally outclassed CD Tacón on Saturday to once again show why they are flying high in the Liga Iberdrola. They were taking no prisoners on their trip to Madrid, and with Oshoala starring with four goals, and Hermoso and Torrejón getting one each, there was only ever going to be one winner.
The first of the Nigerian striker’s goals came after just a minute and a half, and despite the occasional moment of danger by the home side, for whom the Swede Jakobsson was especially impressive, almost all of the action was in the direction of the Tacón goal, the back of which had already been hit four times by the break.
Oshoala, named African player of the year for the fourth time this week, chipped in almost straight from the restart, and the Barça dominance continued, perhaps with a little less intensity now that the win was more than secure.
The game also saw Crnogorčević make her debut and Van der Gragt get her first action since picking up a knee injury at the start of the season.
Barça stay seven points clear of Atlético Madrid, who won 1-0 at Sporting Huelva, and next face Rayo Vallecano at 4.00pm CET at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
