FC Barcelona first team back at work

Training resumed for the FC Barcelona first team on Monday after a three-day break for the players that are not away on international duty. On pitch number two at the Ciutat Esportiva, the depleted numbers were boosted by the presence of six players from Barça B: Jose Suárez, Carbonell, Mujica, Abeledo, Kaptoum and Marlon.

The next game for Barça is Saturday’s Liga encounter at home to Alavés (8.30pm CET).

Andrés Iniesta, meanwhile, is continuing to recover favourably, with everything going according to the expected schedule.
