There’s another intense week in store for the FC Barcelona first team, with two Liga fixtures to contend with after the 5-1 victory at Leganés on Saturday.
On Wednesday they are at the Camp Nou to face an Atlético Madrid side that has put a bumpy start to the season behind them and are now looking as dangerous as ever.
And then they are off to Gijón to face Sporting, coached by Luis Enrique’s good friend ‘Pitu’ Abelardo.
After a week that has featured a Champions League game with Celtic as well as league trip to southwest Madrid, the players start with a rest day. But from then on, it’s going to be work, work, work! Here’s the schedule for the next seven days (all times CET):
Rest day.
11.00am: Training at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper
10.00pm: FC Barcelona v Atlético Madrid at Camp Nou (Liga)
11.00am: Training at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper
5.00pm: Training at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper
4.15pm: Sporting de Gijón v FC Barcelona at El Molinón (Liga).
