The FC Barcelona first team trained on Monday morning in what was the final session before they entertain Borussia Mönchengladbach in Tuesday night’s Champions League encounter (8.45pm CET). With first place in Group C already secure, and the Germans assured a Europa League berth, it’s a game where the two sides have nothing but pride to play for.
Luis Enrique had all of the available members of the first team under his command at the Ciutat Esportiva, but Gerard Piqué and Neymar Jr both did specific exercises aside from the main group.
That group was joined by Carles Aleñá and Marc Cardona of the B team, two of the five debutants in last week’s Copa del Rey match in Alicante.
After the workout, Luis Enrique and player Sergi Roberto will be speaking at official UEFA media conferences, which you can watch here at www.fcbarcelona.com.
