This Thursday, the Superior Sports Council (CSD) has upheld the appeal submitted on January 7 by footballers Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, as well as FC Barcelona, annulling the agreement made by the Monitoring Commission of the RFEF-LaLiga Coordination Agreement.
According to the CSD's ruling, "it has been clearly and indisputably established throughout this process, after considering the parties' arguments, that the Monitoring Commission was not competent to decide on the prior visa, as well as the licence requested by FC Barcelona."
The CSD explains in its statement that the Monitoring Commission lacked the authority to deny the prior visa and the federation licence, rendering its initial decision null and void.
Therefore, both Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor retain their valid licences and will be able to continue playing matches with the team. It should be noted that since January 8, the CSD has granted an urgent precautionary measure that has allowed both players to continue their professional careers normally.
