It's like a normal day at the office for Robert Lewandowski. Having come off the bench to score against Osasuna midweek, three days later he was at it again against Girona, not once but twice, to ensure that Danjuma's equaliser was soon forgotten and Barça could march on to another three points.
3-up in Pichichi race
The night before, Kylian Mbappé had scored twice for Real Madrid against Leganés to move to within one of the Pole in the race to be top scorer in La Liga 2024/25. Having done likewise himself on Sunday, Lewandowski is again three goals in the lead.

He now has 25 goals in total, putting space between himself, the Frenchman and other marksmen including Budimir, Sancet and his team-mate Raphinha. But it's not just the Pichichi that he is eyeing.
Golden Shoe hunt with Salah
The current frontrunner in the battle for the European Golden Shoe rankings is Mohammed Salah of Liverpool with 27 goals (54 points).
The outright top scorer is Viktor Gyökeres of Sporting Lisbon, but goals in the Portuguese championship only earn 1.5 points each.
It should also be noted that where Lewandowski is concerned, it's the team rather than personal achievements that come first, something Hansi Flick praised him for this week, commenting that his centre forward is quite willing to take a seat on the bench when the coach thinks that would be best.
Three short of century
Across all competitions, Lewandowski has 38 goals this season, taking his overall tally since joining Barça up to 97. Three more and he'll be up there among the select few who have reached three figures in the blaugrana jersey.
