Barça the only unbeaten team in Europe in 2025

PSG's loss combined with the win in Lisbon sees Flick's side now the only unbeaten team across the five major European leagues this year

We are over two months into 2025, and Hansi Flick's Barça side are yet to taste defeat. The blaugranes are on a superb run that has featured some great performances, such as the two victories – including the five goal El Clásico – to win the Spanish Supercup. There were also several big wins to go through to the Copa del Rey semi-finals and let's not forget the run to return to the top of LaLiga.

13 wins and three draws

There are the unforgettable Champions league performances too of course, including the epic match ups against Benfica in Lisbon. The first was the historic 4-5 in torrential rain during the league phase, and more recently, there was the heroic performance while one player down to take a valuable one goal aggregate lead into the return leg of the last 16. In combination, the record is a tremendous 13 wins and three draws in 16 games for Barça since the start of the year.

PSG loss makes Barça only unbeaten team left

No other team across the five major European leagues can claim to be undefeated now, as Paris Saint-Germain's recent defeat to Liverpool (0-1) means Flick's are the only unbeaten team left. Their first loss in 17 games means the side from Paris now join six others who have only tasted defeat once this year.

Bayern have played 14 games and have only lost against Feyenoord (3-0), while Bologna have played 13 games, with only a defeat away to Parma (2-0). The remaining sides are not playing in Europe so they have played fewer games, with Napoli and Torino losing one of their nine games, while Espanyol and Villarreal have lost only one from seven.
