FC Barcelona to face Benfica in the last 16 of the Champions League

Hansi Flick's team will play the first leg away on 5 March with the second leg at the Estadi Olímpic on 11 March

FC Barcelona will face Benfica in the last 16 of the Champions League following Friday's draw at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. Hansi Flick's team will play the first leg away from home at the Estádio da Luz on Wednesday 5 March, kick off 9pm CET with the second leg the following week on Tuesday 11 March at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, kick off 6.45pm CET.  

The blaugranes will face Benfica once again in the 2024/25 Champions League after their epic 5-4 comeback victory in the Estádio da Luz on match day 7 of the league phase of the competition. 

With the draw now complete for the whole competition the blaugranes know that should they make it to the quarter-finals they will face the winners of the last 16 tie between Borussia Dortmund and Lille with the first leg at home in the Estadi Olímpic on 8/9 April and the second leg away on 15/16 April.
