February is here and the pace shows no sign of letting up for Hansi Flick's team. Ahead of the blaugranes lies a run of five matches in just 20 days, four in the league and the quarter-final of the Copa del Rey. Should Barça get past Valencia in that game then there will be a sixth game in the month, the first leg of the semi-final which is scheduled for 25/26 February.
Alavés first
The month starts on Sunday 2 February with the visit of Alavés to the Estadi Olímpic, kick off 2pm CET. The blaugranes are aiming to build on their last game in La Liga, a 7-1 victory over Valencia at Montjuïc. The Basque side, coached by Eduardo Coudet, are desperate for points themselves as they come into the game against Barça fourth from bottom in the league, just a point above the relegation zone.
Copa del Rey quarter-final
On Thursday 6 February at 9.30pm CET Barça face the quarter-final of the Copa del Rey against a Valencia side who lost 7-1 recently in the league to Barça. The tie in the cup, however, is at Mestalla and Carlos Corberán's side will be eager to put the heavy loss in La Liga behind them and fight for a place in the semi-finals of the competition. Should Barça get past Valencia then the first leg of the semi-finals will take place on 25 or 26 February.

Nine points on the line
After Copa del Rey duty, the blaugranes will face three tests in La Liga, beginning with an away trip to Sevilla on Sunday 9 February at 9pm CET. Then comes an eight day gap before their next game which is at home to Rayo Vallecano on Monday 17 February at the Estadi Olímpic, kick off 9pm CET.
The final league game of the month is away in the Canary Islands on Saturday 22 February at 9pm CET against UD Las Palmas.
