Champions League play off draw complete

Friday's draw confirms Barça will play one of Stade Brestois, PSG, AS Monaco or Benfica in the last 16

FC Barcelona watched Friday's Champions League play off draw as an interested spectator after gaining a direct place in the last 16 of the competition thanks to their second place finish in the group stage. In the draw the blaugranes saw AS Monaco paired up with Benfica and PSG drawn against fellow French club Stade Brestois. Hansi Flick's team will play one of the two victors in those play off round ties in the next phase of the competition.

Barça have already met three of their four possible rivals in the last 16 in the league phase of the revamped 2024/25 competition. Hansi Flick's side lost 2-1 to Monaco in the opening game of the league phase. However, they did manage to defeat Brest 3-0 at home and then produce a great comeback victory to beat Benfica 5-4 just last week.

The play off ties will be played over two legs between 11 and 19 February with the two winners going into the draw on 21 February which is when the blaugranes will find out their opponents in the last 16 and on which side of the draw they will be placed.
