Ready to go after final session before the Super Cup final

Preparation work done. With their focus completely on the Super Cup final (kick-off 8.00pm CET - 10.00pm local time), Barça trained full of motivation and conviction for the final time in Saudi Arabia. As Hansi Flick explained during the press conference earlier in the day, everyone is ready and prepared for a major challenge – to win the season's second El Clásico and return home with the trophy.

Last training session

Overcoming Athletic Club in the semi-final (0-2) was the first step and preparing in the best possible way is now the focus. The blaugranes trained on Thursday in two separate groups after the game against the Basque side. They had a day off on Friday to recharge the batteries before having a final preparation session at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium facilities on Saturday. Beforehand, five players had a meet and greet with some children and young people, an opportunity provided by the competition's different sponsors.

Every available squad member took part in the session on pitch 1 of this modern complex, which will host the second El Clásico of the season tomorrow. It is likely to be a big draw, and we'll see if the 63000+ seats are filled as expected. All the same, today's training session brings the preparations to an end. The moment of truth draws closer. Time to rest well, as when the blaugranes wake up, they'll have an El Clásico day ahead of them, one that hopefully ends with another trophy for the cabinet.
