Young blaugranes dominating the Super Cup

The six youngest Spanish Super Cup scorers of all time are FC Barcelona players

The goal by Lamine Yamal against Athletic Club in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final meant more than just helping to certify Barça's spot in the final. The Catalan's finish at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Yeddah made him the second youngest scorer of all time in the competition, aged 17 years and 179 days old. Another new landmark for the young La Masia player.

Lamine Yamal features twice

That's not his only entry on the youngest scorer list, though. He is actually in first place too, having scored in the 2-0 semi-final win last season over Osasuna (16 years and 182 days old). So, positions one and two for the number 19 as it stands.

Six out of six

The list of blaugranes goes on, however, and it isn't until seventh place when a player from another team features (Nico Williams). Gavi is third on the list after his goal against Real Madrid at the end of the 22/23 season (18 years and 163 days old), while Xavi Hernández is in fourth position (18 years and 205 days). Bojan Krkić takes fifth (18 years and 360 days old) and Ansu Fati is in sixth place (19 years and 73 old). Blaugrana dominance indeed.
