Barça face December after a previous month of highs and not so highs. In just nine days at the start of the month, Hansi Flick's team face three successive away games – two in the league against Mallorca and Betis, and one in the Champions League at the Signal Iduna Park against Borussia Dortmund. To round off December, the blaugranes face first Leganés and then Atlético Madrid in the league at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
Tough start
Barça's first test of the month comes in the Balearic Islands against Mallorca where Barça will try to get back to winning ways away from home after picking up just one point from the last two matches on the road against Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo. The game at Son Moix kicks off at 7.00pm CET on Tuesday 3 December. The next test will come at the Benito Villamarín stadium against Real Betis on Saturday 7 December at 4.15pm CET.
The blaugranes' only Champions League game in December sees coach Hansi Flick return to his native Germany for a game against Borussia Dortmund. The match pits third against fourth in the league table and kick off at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday 11 December is at 9.00pm CET.
Two home games to round off the year
The final two games of 2024 for the blaugranes come at home at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Leganés are the visitors on Sunday 15 December (kick-off 9.00pm CET), before the blaugranes face Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid side on Saturday 21 December, also at 9.00pm CET, to round off the year.
