Barça's Brazilian forward Raphinha is in great form at the moment and the winger has rapidly become a key member of the side under new coach Hansi Flick. Since the start of the season Raphinha has brought his talents to the blaugrana frontline, scoring 10 goals and providing no less than 9 assists.
His total of 10 goals this season already equal his stats for each of the last two seasons as a blaugrana. Of his 10 goals 6 have come in the league and 4 in the Champions League, including a hat-trick against Bayern Munich.
Figures from first two seasons
Raphinha came to Barça in in the summer of 2022 from Premier League side Leeds United. In his first campaign he scored a total of 7 goals in the league, 2 in the Copa del Rey and 1 in the Europa League. The Brazilian also provided 12 assists (7 in the league, 2 in the Copa del Rey, 1 in the Europa League and 2 in the Champions League).
The figures were virtually repeated the following season in 2023/24 with 6 goals in the league, 3 in the Champions League and 1 in the Copa del Rey. In terms of assists, there were 13 shared out between 9 in the league and 4 in the Champions League.
Therefore, Raphinha is just a goal away from recording his best ever season as a blaugrana in terms of goalscoring with still well over the half the campaign still to go. It surely is Raphinha's year.
