Barça coach Hansi Flick is a happy man. After his team's 5-1 win over Sevilla in La Liga at the Estadi Olímpic, the coach reflected on his side's performance and the return of players from injury, in particular midfielder Gavi who made his first appearance in a Barça shirt in almost a year.
"I am really happy, the only negative is the goal we conceded," said an ever demanding Hansi Flick. The German coach, despite the emphatic win, is eager for the team to learn from their mistakes, nevertheless, he confessed to being "very satisfied with the team's performance."
Without wanting to go overboard, the Barça boss admitted that "today there is time to celebrate the victory but tomorrow we will start to think about the next game against Bayern."
The return of Gavi
Elsewhere, the German was happy with the win and also with the return of Gavi to action after his recovery from a serious knee injury. "He did well. Seeing the atmosphere in the stadium when he came on gave me goosebumps," admitted Flick.
With the objective of "having him on the bench and giving him some minutes" complete, according to the Barça, the first step on his return has been taken.
