Dani Olmo joins first training session

There were more new faces for training on Saturday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Dani Olmo, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres were all there to work for the first time under the orders of new coach Hansi Flick.

A day after being officially announced as a new signing, Dani Olmo was out on the pitch on another sweltering hot morning in the Catalan capital. He was joined by two fellow members of the Euro 24 winning Spanish squad, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal for a workout on the Tito Vilanova field with the rest of his new team-mates. 

With just two days to go before the Joan Gamper Trophy, the seniors were accompanied today by youth players A. Valle, Marc Bernal, Gerard Martín, Sergi Domínguez, Toni Fernández, Quim Junyent, Mika Faye and Andrés Cuenca.

However, Vitor Roque has gone down with a fever and was not part of today's proceedings. 

The game with AS Monaco is an 8pm CEST start on Monday. That's the last friendly for the team before the new Liga season gets started the weekend after.
