FC Barcelona and Girona FC have reached an agreement for Pau Víctor to remain at the former until 30 June 2029.
Top scorer in Primera RFEF
Pau Víctor was just six when he started playing at Junior FC. In his teens he joined Sabadell and three years later was playing U19 football for Girona, and after two years of that started playing for the Girona reserves.
He was soon knocking on the senior team's door, training with them regularly and playing eight Second Division fixtures in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
In 2022/23 he was loaned back to CE Sabadell, playing 36 games, scoring 7 goals and giving 6 assists. He continued to develop as a footballer at Barça Atlètic in 2023/24, officially on loan from Girona, and after a fine season FC Barcelona has secured his services for another campaign.
Goal-getter
It's not hard to understand why. After all, he was thee top scorer in last season's Primera RFEF with 20 goals contributed to the promotion-winning campaign. Pau Víctor has a habit of rising to the big occasion, and his goals naturally had a huge part to play in that season's success.
Rafa Márquez has generally opted to use him as the centre forward, but Víctor is extremely versatile and in several parts has been moved out to the wings, also to great effect.
