First day with double training session complete

The 2024/25 season is well and truly under way. This Thursday, the first team squad trained for the very first time under new head coach Hansi Flick, the day after taking medical and fitness tests at the Ciutat Esportiva. Today they took to the Tito Vilanova field for their first day of actual training, completing two sessions.

These were the same set of players that took the routine tests on Wednesday, although the injured Alejandro Balde, Julián Araujo, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong worked in isolation on their respective recoveries.

Back with a double session

But that wasn't the first day over. At 6pm CEST they were back at it again because today is one of two days this week that involves both morning and early evening sessions to get Barça's 24/25 season off to a proper start.
