Lamine Yamal's goal against Mallorca has been voted the best of 2023/24 in a poll sponsored by Konami.

Impeccable strike

It was in the 73rd minute of what until then was a 0-0 draw with Mallorca that the teenage sensation was on the end of a Lewandowski pass and struck a delicious angled finish into the back of the net. A spectacular goal that secured three crucial points.

But this was just one of so many examples of what this gem of a player can do with a football at his feet. Currently the top ranked player in the race for the Golden Boy, he has become one of the most talked about players in the world game before even turning 17 years of age!

Tough contest

Lamine's goal won the vote ahead of nine other candidates, namely Gavi (versus Villarreal), Fermín (Shakhtar), Lewandowski (Real Madrid), Kounde (Unionistas Salamanca), João Félix (Betis) Gündogan (Alavés), Raphinha (PSG) João Félix (Cadiz) and Lewy again (Valencia).
