Ter Stegen and Gündogan are set to be involved at Euro 2024. The German football federation has announced their list of 27 players for the competition that runs from June 14 to July 14 in the country. One player will still miss out as the maximum squad number is 26, but the keeper and midfielder are very much in the running to play key roles at Euro 2024.
The full squad list is Baumann, Neuer, Nubel, Ter Stegen, Anton, Henrichs, Kimmich, Koch, Mittelstadt, Raum, Rudiger, Schlotterbeck, Tah, Andrich, Fuhrich, Grob, Gündogan, Musiala, Pavlovic, Wirtz, Beier, Fullkrug, Havertz, Muller, and Undav.
Both Gündogan and Ter Stegen are permanent fixtures in Xavi's starting eleven. The midfielder is the player to feature in the most games this season (49 out of 50), while the keeper provides assurance between the sticks for the blaugranes, and despite missing a couple of months due to injury, he has played 33 games.
