FC Barcelona have finally reached the 300 mark in games against Real Madrid in la Liga. It took just six minutes of Sunday's Clásico for Andreas Christensen to head in the corner and claim the landmark goal.
No prizes for guessing who has scored the most of those 300 goals. That was Leo Messi with 18, followed by César Rodríguez with 12 and Luis Suárez with 9. Other big names on the list include Estanislao Basora, the legend of the Barça of the Five Cups, with 8, and Quini and Zaldúa, who both got 6.
The scorer of Barça's 100th goal in the league against the all-whites was Sándor Kocsis way back in a 3-1 win in 1962, and goal number 200 was the only one that Ronaldo scored against what would later be his own team, that one being the only goal of a 1-0 win in 1997. So, first Hungary, second Brazil and now Denmark, with Andreas Christensen putting his name down in the history books for his brilliantly converted far post header to open the scoring on Sunday night.
